Yeosu Campus (Tel : 061-659-2235)
The Health Center at CNU's Yeosu campus consists of examination and treatment rooms as well as a recovery room for patients with more serious illnesses. First-aid, health consultation, and medication are available for students, faculty members, and members of the community at large at Yeosu.
The Health Center's resident physician, Jeong-woo Jan, also serves as Director of 21C Yonhap Clinic and is available for consultation every Thursday from 1 to 2 PM.
The Health Center provides a number of functions, including basic physical examinations (blood pressure, weight, height, and blood sugar level measurements, tests for obesity, and body composition analysis), carrying out health education and disease prevention campaigns, and inoculations in September and October of each year. The Health Center also provides first-aid medicine that may be requisitioned by students for university-related activities and events.
Among the hospitals authorized by CNU to deliver medical service to students and faculty members (immediate family members inclusive), Yeosu Sungshim Hospital is particularly well known for its medical clinic (specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology and urology, general surgery, chest surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and dentistry). CNU-affiliated patients at the Hospital may receive a special discount for the cost of medical services (excluding the cost of meals and upgrades in accommodation).
